Not a Fad or a Trend Making the Lasting Impression: Interview with “Devil Dancing” Artist BOSCO

 

 

 

Upcoming rapper Bosco is striving to be the best of the best in the music industry.  He brings a different style to the genre  and is not afraid to show it. In three words he describes his artistry as passionate, creative, and bold and we can definitely see it coming to play in his most recent projects. Creating music not just as a trend or a fad, as he states but, to leave a “lasting impression.” I had the opportunity to get to know Bosco and here at ZealousInked wish him nothing but good things.

We Discussed the following:

ZI: What made you begin making music?

Bosco: I’ve always loved music as young as I could remember I would right songs. But I didn’t find the courage to pursuit it till I got older

ZI:  How does your music differentiate from others?
Bosco: My music differentiates from others because, I keep my music honest. I like to be transparent.. I tell my truth in different creative ways. Nowadays people tell the same stories over and over again.

ZI:  Musically, what are your biggest influences?
Bosco: I have a lot of influences my biggest would have to be Kendrick, Young Thug, Lil Uzi, Kanye, The Wknd, Travis Scott, My Morning Jacket, and Tyler The Creator.
ZI:  What inspires your music?

Bosco: That“s a hard question the simplest answer is life to be honest… lessons I have learned, my regrets, and things I hope for.

ZI:  What artist would you want to work with in the future?

Bosco: Of course, I would want to work with all of my influences. Outside of them would be Joeybada$$, Q da fool, Jorja Smith, and Erykah Badu.

ZI:  Where do you see your music taking you in the next five years?

Bosco: I see myself at star status, wealthy, successful, and happy.

ZI:  What advice would you give someone else interested in making music?
Bosco: Advice I would give to upcoming artist is to put detail into your craft and learn business then learn about the music business… Above all be original!
